Anticipation!

An amazing realization!

T’was

Saturday morning,

April 8th, 1989

breathlessly awaiting

the birth of my son.

A new birth – the signature screams and cries were heard.

It was sheer ecstasy!

A new life affecting my universe,

the most extraordinary event of my being

elevated me to a level of unspoken words.

This new birth was my rebirth.

My life had forever changed!

Healthy growth thrives on nurturing

Life blossoms then blooms with love

Challenges and failures are par for the course

…but then,

birdies and eagles soar from above.

So

Set your sails to the wind

Brave the chills

Row your boat with fortitude

Fight the waves,

for

Your journey will be chartered

by your effort and attitude.

Success and the pursuit of happiness

Will also follow the trail of a shared vision,

with love, kindness, understanding and strength.

Walk with others to know your world,

walk alone to know thyself,
